Harmony Schoolhouse is filled with inspiration and just about everything you need to for mixed media, collage, and art exploration. The walls are lined with cabinets that are filled with paints, mediums, chalks, pastels, and other art supplies. There are rubber stamps and inks galore! Stacks and stacks of pretty papers and ephemera from days gone by line the shelves. Buckets of beads and buttons, spools of ribbons and threads, and beautiful fabrics and textures are waiting for you to create 'till your heart's content!

Hi, I'm Kathleen. Welcome to Harmony Schoolhouse.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. As you can see from the alphabet soup behind my name, I have been a teacher for life! I believe that is my calling and God's purpose for me. My teaching focus has always been to serve children with special needs, mainly the Deaf and those with learning differences.
Now my calling has propelled me in the direction of helping people develop their creativity through mixed media collage.

I love mixed media because of the variety of mediums used and, anything goes! There are no preconceived notions, no right or wrong, and creativity and expression flows. I love how a piece starts and you don't know where its going, it just happens. We can learn a lot about ourselves and our feelings through this process.
